Review on Atom Longboards Drop Deck Longboard by Gerardo Cibrian

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best board for the money!

First of all I'm 38 years old and I needed something to keep up with my 12 year old. However, I wasn't sure what to take. Take my word for it, this is absolutely the place to start. I have tried many boards at Tilly's and the drop deck is where it is. For those planning on cruising, the low deck height makes this thing so easy to push off. Plus, there's just enough flex (I'm 6ft 2in and 178lbs) to make the ride awesome. I mostly ride on tarmac, but it also handles concrete well. smooth rolling. One note, as others have said you will need to loosen the lug nuts a little as they come a little tight from the factory. After a quick adjustment, my board sailed! My daughter has a Goldcoast pintail with Super Reds and it rolls like a brick compared to an Abec 11 and a Factory Area 51. Actually I now have to replace her board because she always wants to ride my Atom Drop deck. "I loosened up the tracks a bit and feel like I'm cutting fresh snow on a snowboard. Plus, you'll never experience wheel binding because of the cutouts. In fact, that's the way to go. Finally, that's not quite right." which the guy wants his board to be known for, but the thing looks really good. The handle has a subtle logo engraved on it and the underside is just magical! Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing at all. Stop Search for and add this to your cart.
