Another towel is placed in the car to remove condensation from the car's side mirrors and windshield. I also had a water leak from a dropped plastic cup and this microfiber cloth worked much better than a mop or paper towels. When a towel gets dirty, I just throw it in the washing machine (regular towels load) and it comes out clean. I personally prefer air drying.
