I was looking for an insert in the mask to wear while working out (I'm tired of sucking the mask in my mouth while doing cardio at the gym). First of all, the appearance makes a good impression. They are a good size for an adult woman and the material is very soft flexible silicone. This was important to me as I have a nose bladder injury that is healing and I can't take the extra pressure on the bridge of my nose. Inserting it into the mask is very easy, it took me seconds to figure it out. I've tried them with different mask styles and had no problems. They have a very very slight plastic odor from the packaging which is imperceptible when I put it on my face with a mask, the odor from my mask/washing machine easily overpowers it. I haven't used it functionally yet. I'm going to the gym tonight and will update my review if anything stands out, good or bad.
