Despite my doubts, it works.
It really works. It takes a bit of fiddling to figure out how it works, but I set up my TV with one of these and it's been enough time to make sure my TV doesn't fall off. A word of warning I have white walls and rubbing the underside along the wall left marks, cover with a paper towel to avoid leaving marks on the wall.
