Review on 🐜 Exploring Nature's Wonders with Uncle Milton Giant Ant Farm by Donald Vargas

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 4 year old son who loves ants. It had everything you need to start except the ants. It's so neat! All of our friends and family watch them for hours. I ordered ants for Christmas and received them last week. I knew the ants would have to wait a long time. The instructions clearly state that you must wait for the weather to reach the ideal temperature before shipping them. (I had to pay to ship the ants but it was less than $5 so I'm not complaining). If it's too hot or too cold, the ants will die before you get them. They kept me updated on the condition of my ants via email. In the tube we received only 1 ant died. There are also very specific instructions on how to set up the farm before adding the ants. Sand should not completely fill the farm. You need to give the ants some space so they can start working! I see a lot of comments about their ants dying after a few days. We only had 3 deaths so you probably didn't pay attention to them. FYI, you can use regular ants from your garden as well. They just have to be bigger than the air holes. I recommend this for all ages. The Ant Farm itself has cool graphics and seems solid so far.
