Review on linkerd by John Contreras

Linkerd has been very easy for us to use in our microservice architecture. It's simple enough for new developers to get started with but powerful enough for more experienced engineers who are familiar with network programming. The built-in metrics make it really easy to understand where things stand as far as performance goes. We haven't found anything we dislike about Linkerds capabilities so far. They have an excellent team of experts behind them and they continue to improve their product every day. If you're looking into using a load balancer for your services then I would definitely recommend looking at linkerD as well. Our primary goal was to ensure that all of our services were being accessed by users via multiple paths. With linkerD this became a reality.
