These are excellent quality V-brakes but may not be fully compatible with your brake struts. You need to measure the height of the widest (lowest) part of the brake leg. If this section is 4mm then these brakes will be flush when installed. If the base of your brake strut is 6mm, the V-brake will not fit snugly to the bottom of the brake strut, leaving a 2mm gap; This is because the internal depth of the bolt hole (to attach to the widest part of the brake leg) is only about 4mm on V-brakes. This doesn't appear to affect performance as the brakes still work: the brake pin still extends to the pin hole and the inner sleeve goes all the way through the V-brake. From what I've read, others say that this isn't a big problem as the torque is still being applied to the base of the brake leg. So in the end it's more of an aesthetic issue that can be solved by sawing off the base of your brake leg (or replacing it with another brake leg if yours isn't welded on). However, I found it worth mentioning.
