Review on Mercer Culinary Millennia Black Handle Slicer: Premium 14-Inch Blade for Seamless Cutting by Joseph Marquez

To be fair the knife itself is VERY good - how should I know? I previously bought one as a gift for a friend. All of the great things in the other reviews are spot on. I have a delivery problem. It was ordered on December 28th as it was away from my home for a New Year's Eve event. After I gave it up I had to go back to cancel the 4 day delivery - day 2 was critical. Then I get a notification that it won't be delivered until January 3rd - BEAUTIFUL! On January 3rd I receive the sheaths included in the order from the same source and a notification that the knife will now be delivered on January 4th. The morning of the 4th, and the new notification delivery is now the 7th. Nobody will be at the delivery address to take it. I hope my update to return an item in transit makes it through the car better than the order was processed.
