Warning to anyone purchasing an Android head unit.

INSTALLI has installed over 2 dozen head units in his life and I work with cars and electronics for fun so I can say fitting this to a 2012 Camry LE was an easy task. Maybe 30 minutes after unpacking and figuring out where I turned it on. Watch a video or two and try it yourself. If you have any doubts, go to your trusted car stereo dealer and they shouldn't overcharge you. FRIENDLY WARNING But back to my title warning. I wanted to buy an Android headphone as a gift for my girlfriend, so I did a little research and came across this Dasaita early on, but it was one of the most expensive. I ended up saving up and buying another manufacturer's dual-core model for $200 from a non-Revain supplier and had nothing but problems. The steering wheel buttons wouldn't reprogram, the rear camera didn't work, the touchscreen randomly went off and tapped the entire screen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi only auto-reconnected occasionally, and the lags were unbearable. There was bad Chinese-English everywhere. It was embarrassing because at least my friend's old stock head unit worked reliably. Obviously I couldn't leave her like this. I returned it promptly and bought this Dasaita model to replace it. Cost more than double what I paid for a cheap device, but I can say it was worth it. You get a fast response rate to your mobile phone 95% of the time, so there's virtually no lag and everything pretty much works. CAR LAUNCHER (GUI) I highly recommend you find a good launcher on Google Play Store once you activate it. The preinstalled one isn't the best, so don't bother navigating more than it takes to get into the Play Store. Pay a few bucks and get something that offers a clean interface that works for you. Do your research and try different ones. The longer you scroll or tap the menu while driving to get to the right place, the longer your eyes stay on the road. Do your research and try different ones.
