If you're looking for a lightweight, ready-to-use pump that you can use right away, this is the one for you. The beginning is the hardest part but once it starts there seems to be a good FLOW. They stated it wasn't a primer so shame on you if you complain about it. I use it to pump aquarium water through a UV filter. Slide about 4 feet stroke. The pump works and feels warm but not hot. I couldn't find a cheaper pump that has an inlet and outlet port, most of these are plug in pumps that only have an outlet fitting. How long it lasts under my workload will determine its cost. Updated - so sorry, so sad. Do not run dry or the pump will stop.
