These are traditional workshop towels. These are thin linen towels (rag size). Like conventional mechanical cloths, they absorb oil and grease well. However, they don't soak up water that easily, you have to get completely wet to wet the towel. They are great for paint and artist rags. Also in the guest bathroom I use informal cloth napkins as well as small personal towels. They are most commonly the square size of a dishcloth, but exact dimensions vary. Some are smaller/squarer than others.
