These "towels" came with mold. I made the mistake of washing them but that didn't work and I've spent the last two days trying to get the horrible smell out of my washing machine. The smell is terrible. The towels had to be thrown away. I do not recommend this product. I am very disappointed and worried that the smell from them will never leave my washing machine.

I was just expecting a random bag of old fashioned rags with threaded edges in the bag. Instead I was surprised to see beautifully packaged and very absorbent rags that made my cleaning so much easier! It's nice when rags are sold so cheaply that they can be thrown away or reused many times. I keep them and use them for dirty jobs and then either throw them away when they're too dirty or wait until I've collected a pile and run a special wash cycle. Amazing value for money!

Cheap store rags are good for general use. The rating reflects the reality of rags costing less than a paper towel. Seams and other imperfections indicate they won't last long. I received 100 packs of blue towels. They stink like they were previously used in the store or they were put away wet and never dried and now they are full of mold! Pooh! Disappointing! These are traditional workshop towels. These are thin linen towels (rag size). Like conventional mechanical cloths, they absorb oil and grease well. However, they don't soak up water that easily, you have to get completely wet to wet the towel. They are great for paint and artist rags. Also in the guest bathroom I use informal cloth napkins as well as small personal towels. They are most commonly the square size of a dishcloth, but exact dimensions vary. Some are smaller/squarer than others.

If you use them as greasy cloths/towels for car workshops, no problem. However, I am an anodizing hobbyist and use these rags to wrap parts that have been sitting for a few days.
