If you use them as greasy cloths/towels for car workshops, no problem. However, I am an anodizing hobbyist and use these rags to wrap parts that have been sitting for a few days. When I later unwrapped my pieces I noticed that black corrosion was forming where the pieces touched the cloth and not just one piece but all the pieces wrapped in those rags/towels. Even steel parts were covered in the same black corrosion. I immediately washed the rags - twice - and that seemed to fix the problem, no more corrosion forming on my parts wrapped in these rags/towels. Yes I will buy these rags again but next time wash them first.
