Yes this cable works

I was able to use it on my 4K Fire TV on 2 different TVs without any major issues. I can even run it from the Visio soundbar's USB port. So yes, it works exactly as intended, and then something else. To everyone who keeps giving 1 stars and saying "the cable doesn't work", stop blaming the cable for your misunderstanding. All this cable does and is designed to do is deliver power from the source (TV USB port) to the device (Fire/Chromecast/Roku stick). It's not a source of energy, it doesn't generate energy from air. If your TV doesn't have a powered USB port or doesn't provide enough power, there isn't a cable on the planet that can fix this. Contrary to popular belief, not every USB port on a TV will power an external device. Most of these are input-only, meaning they are designed for cameras, camcorders, or USB sticks. And not every powered USB port is 2.0 or higher. If your streaming drive doesn't work with it (underperforming, incompatibility, etc.), guess which sun? The problem is with the TV, not the cable. which sun? The problem is with the TV, not the cable. which sun? The problem is with the TV, not the cable. camcorders or USB sticks.
