This can ONLY be a very accurate and sensitive scale if you don't use the TARE function. When TARE is active, the scale resets normally. Let's say the tare weight is 100 grains. You can repeatedly remove and replace the canister and the scale will read either 0.00 or -100.00. Everything looks good. Now if you start adding something in small amounts to get the amount you want, you can keep adding and adding and adding, and eventually the scale will show 0.4 grains. If this amount is now weighed on the scales, the result is up to 8.5 grains. And it gets even worse! If you put the container and 8.5 grains back on the scale, it reads 0.4 grains again. If you then remove the container, the scale will read -108.5 grains. The weight you added to the bowl was simply added to the tare weight. It's very consistent, repeatable, and potentially very deadly depending on usage. So what did I like about it? 1) None of that annoying auto-off nonsense. 2) It remembers the mode you left it in when you turn it back on. an.3) The protective cover is ok and there is room for accessories.4) The display is easy to read.
