Bought 2 collars for my kitties. The little kitty got wacky ears twice from a broken fastener stuck to a bowl of water. In principle she could drown, but I was there the second time when the collar didn't break. Luckily the collar came off the first time. It only weighs 4 pounds and the force required to move this giant bowl of water is tremendous. The male kitten is larger and there are fewer problems with him. Pointed ears on a cat face clip are cute, but they're also pointy, uncomfortable, and potentially dangerous. I'll try to file the ears so my cats don't get hurt. Otherwise the collar will be sent to us in the trash. You may have better luck if you have larger cats.
