So far so good. That's right, I haven't tried welding with him yet. I will report this later. I just wanted to provide a picture showing the tip being sanded on a 180 grit belt sander. I don't know what angle is optimal. This was my first try. I know you want to grind parallel to the bar for better arc stability. Also, I know there's a dirt problem, but we only sand plywood on this sander, so... I don't think there's a problem. To be 100% sure, you need to learn the best methods for sharpening electrodes.
