Became unstable for security and surveillance
First of all the documentation is poor so it took some effort to figure out what I'm looking for in my open door detection software. It turns out that the state transition from 23 to 22 is what I need. However, after working well for several months, the switch became tangled. Sometimes the status of the closed door is 22 but other times it points to 23. Other times I open the door and the status doesn't change at all. I've lost confidence in the device so I'll either buy something else or rely on my motion sensors which have proven to be very reliable.
