I wear size 7 but ordered 8 based on reviews. These boots do not run small, so if you feel you need to "go up a size", only do so if you can go half a size up. They fit the calf snugly and I have a 16 inch calf. So if you need to know if they fit wide calves, yes, but only up to 16.5-17 inches for a size 8. They were also very bulky and I found myself stomping. uncomfortable around and still feel they would be awkward if I left them my size. I returned them for the Ariat boots and ordered 1/2 size up which was still a tad too big for me, but the feel and fit of the Ariats is undeniably more comfortable than the style of the Dublin River Boot. Check them out if you're looking for ranch boots.
