I was initially skeptical about spending that much money on a backpack, but I knew I needed a backpack that was strong enough to hold more than just my dog . This pack is amazing. I can fit my French bulldog in it easily (she weighs just under 18lbs) but if she gets too big it will come in handy. There are so many things in this package that I appreciate. There's room for water bottles, supportive dueling straps, a sturdy base so it doesn't collapse when you lower it, and additional room and compartments for a variety of things (including a well-placed compartment that I tucked an ice pack in to help cool mine down) puppy) I am very happy with this purchase. If you are an adventurer and bring your own animal, this is for you.
