I like that it's a relatively inexpensive way to determine basic ozone levels. I've placed three in different parts of my home and the results have been exactly what I expected. A strip I placed in an area where I have a low level ozone generator showed high but acceptable ozone levels. In the room, the smallest in the home HVAC system airflow, the reading was the lowest and average between the ozone generator and the HVAC system return air intake, the reading was midway between the other two readings. I will use this product to determine when my home is low on ozone. This isn't very useful for high ozone levels as it doesn't show levels that are considered to be any kind of health issue. The highest level detected by this kit is 0.105ppm, which is well below levels that would cause harm to a person. Too little ozone in a room is more of a problem than too much. Ozone perfectly cleans the air of volatile organic compounds. Because ozone has a half-life of only 45 minutes (at 70 degrees Fahrenheit), ozone must be continuously introduced into homes, either through infiltration from the outside air or through ozone-producing products.
