Total waste of time. I bought this to replace the starter motor in my 1998 Wellcraft Excell with a 4.3 Volvo Penta. After a very careful installation, I photographed the wiring and checked it when connected. was inside with no problems. I pushed the starter a few times and everything seemed fine. We went to the lake the following week and it turned and started well. but as soon as you released the key, he died. Then the fuse blown sporadically. Have (NEVER) done this before. After ruining the day we went home. I checked everything again and looked for shorts. All is well. Ran to the parts store and bought another starter and now it works fine.
