I've only used this knife for a few hours and only 5 minutes at a time as the manual recommends. I have had an electric knife, a big brand name, for many years, when it failed I bought another brand a few months ago. It was terrible. Not cut, completely useless. After waiting and reading customer reviews about Revain I decided to listen to them and bought this knife. I had trouble penetrating the blades when using them on a 10 lb roast beef and it cut through that roast like butter sooo strong so easy what a delight. I've never heard of this brand and if buyers hadn't written their comments I wouldn't have bought it. There are no flaws in this knife. Surprisingly, you get two pairs, one for bread and one for meat. Luckily for me, I bake and cook a lot of dog meat, buns, etc. for myself and the kids. I can't help but notice how sharp the blades are which makes slicing meat so easy, it cuts through quickly with no pressure from me. I don't have to press it or use it like a saw. I press the knife against the meat and it does the rest, quickly slicing and slicing through the entire piece of meat from top to bottom. I am very happy that I have a great product! Now for birthdays and Christmas my family should be expecting this knife as a gift. Buyers who buy an electric knife should have peace of mind when choosing this knife, it works just perfectly, thanks to this manufacturer for a great product. I turned it upside down to insert it. It's nobody's fault but me. great product, enjoy using it, makes my dog food so easy and quick.
