My 2009 liquid-cooled gaming PC with a powerful processor and high-end (for the time) graphics card. It connects via DVI and comes with VGA adapters. I used to run it on two monitors, one of which was a medium resolution (720p) TV. I also have some old CRT monitors and for connecting to a newer laptop this is useful. Also, one of my old HDTVs (1080P) has a VGA port which I used from my laptop to stream my streaming files and services from my laptop to the large flat screen TV. Excellent for using multiple monitors and adapting old to new connections. While newer Smart TVs etc. often have a built-in remote broadcast function, older ones had to be connected directly, usually via VGA or HDMI. A beautiful piece to add to your cable and connector collection to tie old and new together. highlighted.
