Review on Honeywell AT72D1683 Transformer Multicolored by Dragan Nelson

Recently bought another brand which worked 3 days before dying. You should also pay attention to the 1 star reviews above it. They did not deliver what was advertised. Nowhere does it say that this transformer was a Honeyewell product and was made in China and not in the US as advertised. Couldn't figure out why my new RING doorbell wouldn't work with this transformer as it was recommended for a doorbell output: 24VAC at 40VA. Eventually, the electrician found that this transformer was providing 27 volts to the transformer and the doorbell, which only required 24 volts. Unplugged and hopefully when the real Honeywell transformer arrives I'll know if my new doorbell has blown or not. Learn from my mistakes, don't buy.
