I love being able to play DVD movies on my phone! This drive allows me to use movie discs I've bought for years without using up any data. My phone is an older model (Samsung Galaxy A6 / Android version 10) so I had to buy a USB-A to Micro USB OTG adapter ($5 for 3pcs). After I installed the apps from the PlayStore, the drive would automatically open the appropriate app to play any disc that was inserted. Also, I inserted a blank hard drive to back up some of the photos and videos that were taking up space on my phone. An absolutely worthwhile purchase. Highly recommended.
