Very useful drive for computers and accessories

I have many more on CD and DVD. My new laptop doesn't have a slot for all of this, so I bought this drive. So far it works to move photos from drives to laptop and other things I need to keep. Haven't tried using it for anything else yet. I didn't need the required apps and the app reviews weren't very good. The drive itself works perfectly.

Play CDs and DVDs right on your Android phone or tablet

I love being able to play DVD movies on my phone! This drive allows me to use movie discs I've bought for years without using up any data. My phone is an older model (Samsung Galaxy A6 / Android version 10) so I had to buy a USB-A to Micro USB OTG adapter ($5 for 3pcs). After I installed the apps from the PlayStore, the drive would automatically open the appropriate app to play any disc that was inserted. Only one can buy

This is my 5th purchase of DVD drives of different brands. All 4 other drives had problems right away and one didn't even work when it was new. I've put this Hitachi to a pretty good test and it hasn't failed in any function and for the first time (of 5 purchases - 4 returns) it makes and burns CDs to play in my car - great. You don't even have to spend much more to get this Hitachi quality. He looks very beautiful, very thin, very quiet and understands my voice. I use this device on my home…

Very Good Android External Drive

This worked fine with our Lenovo Android tablet. It was truly a plug and play installation. I still haven't figured out how to get my wife's PC games to play on it, but that's by no means the disc's fault. DVD and CD play like any other drive. This device is also the only one of the 3 that works by drawing power from our tablet.
