There are no concerns about the picture quality, so I took it on an old TV for the kitchen. I think it's a great option. All movies and apps function. When using the Google smart home system, you can use your phone to control the stick and, if you're connected to the same Wi-Fi, turn on a YouTube video. This is a very useful feature, especially for the kitchen. Use this stick without even considering if someone is debating whether or not to accept it (especially if not on the main TV). You can think of the same stick for more recent TVs with a good matrix, but a 4k resolution will make it much better.
