They are bright, the light and color quality is good (not too white and not too yellow) and the beam angle is quite wide. The little thing is that they are slightly taller than my previous halogen bulbs. My main problem is not directly related to the product. Although they say they are dimmable, they don't work properly with my particular range hood (GE JVX5300SJ1SS). Everything looks great on a light background. At low settings there is a strobing effect that almost causes a seizure, around 30 Hz (just a guess). After finding information online about my range hood, I found a discussion stating that LEDs are not recommended in this hood due to EMI in the circuit. To be honest it's over my head. I only recommend looking at the hood model online before buying if you're trying to replace a halogen bulb with one of these.
