I recently received this switch as a Christmas present and it was great. Installation took some time and was a little interesting. I don't have photos, but we locked my Mustang in the front and raised it in the back, and it was quite an interesting sight. Installation was easy until it was time to put in the new Hurst. To get it you have to play around with it for a while, trying to find the right angle. We wanted to remove the gearbox from the gearbox to install it, but just before we did that we were able to find the right angle to install it. So it's doable, just take your time with it. The rest of the installation was completed with no problems and I now have the switch in place and have had a couple of weeks to use it. The feel of the switch is much nicer than what I'm used to with the stock switch. Its stroke is much shorter and shifts are cleaner. I felt the stock shifter had a gritty feel when shifting between gears, and it's smooth as silk until you find your gear and have a great notch or lock-up feel and you know it's in gear. There is no certainty that you are in gear and I can shift gears quickly. The switch is a bit noisier than the standard switch, but you are paying for the robust construction of this switch compared to the standard switch. I put some duct tape between the shift knob and shift rod which helped steady it a bit and didn't ruin the feel of the shift.
