Cheap solution suitable for dashboard navigation
It works. But everyone says the sound on the other end of the phone is bad. However, the BIGGEST problem is that the microphone only rotates vertically. This is a serious problem when the microphone needs to be mounted on either side of the speaker (person) - for example on the roof of a car to the left or right of the sun visor. This completely prevents you from properly aiming the microphone at the speaker. The mic seems very directional, which leads me to think that poor alignment is a contributing factor to poor audio on the receiver end.
