I have three wire boxes, one from KONG (bought from Petsmart), one from Precision Pet Products (bought at the local pet store) and this one. I bought this specifically for my 3 month old GSD puppy so he can sleep through the night while we continue to house train him. It offers better ventilation than its airplane style kennel. He's almost 30 pounds. and I suspect he'll outgrow this in a month. Nothing bad. My problem is with the general design of the children's room. The latches that hold the doors shut are pretty flimsy and not as secure as my other two wire drawers. There were some sharp/chafing places where the metal was cut (near the tray) and I put duct tape on them to (hopefully) protect my pup if he caught a paw or toe in the area caught. Having bought this box for short term use I am not too disappointed. But I definitely wouldn't buy it again for a long time. There are much better quality wire drawers that won't break the bank. I think KONG is one of the best of the three I have.
