If you are on a budget or just started out and want to see if journaling is for you, or, if you are already into it but just looking for a more economic product to substitute your expensive ones, search no more: THIS IS IT! I am super impressed with this product's quality and how it was packaged/presented. Highly recommend for anyone who's looking into buying an inexpensive one as gift or self use without composing the quality/ look / feel. It comes in a nice box so make gifting more easy, elegant and feel high end. Leather is real and super nice. I also bought a "brand name" one thinking giving this "cheap one" out as a gift, but heck no, I am going to keep this on instead! Having said that, you shall note that the paper booklet insert is not necessary the highest quality, but then again, no regret at all given the selling price. You can always sub out the paper with Tomoe River or other higher quality paper booklet inserts if that bothers you. But overall, I think this is SUPER VALUE, and deserve way more than 5 stars!
