This is such a cute building block set that with shapes and prints is a bit more modern and interesting than the regular building blocks. My kids love the animals and patterns on these stones. 26 solid wood cubes in five colours. There are 14 unique shapes with patterns ranging from spots to stripes. There are three animals - an owl, an elephant and a lion. Petit Collage makes truly amazing sustainable toys that are well designed and obviously well thought out from start to finish. Two of my kids and all the other kids who visit our home have played with these bricks and they still look pretty new. Every kid loves different textures and shapes because they offer 14 unique shapes other than rectangle or cube. :) The sawtooth block is a favorite and the texture and feel is really fun to rub against your hand or other blocks to make sounds. Great for learning shapes, colors, patterns, counting, finding similar objects, hand-eye coordination. and figure play.
