***UPDATE*** I was contacted by customer service after originally giving them a 2 star rating and asking me to change my rating change. They also tried to help me get the lighter working properly but it's still having issues, even after adjusting the igniter it still goes out on the lighter frame about 50% of the time. They were persistent in making me happy and changing my rating. They even sent me another lighter that might work better and thanks to their efforts I decided to change my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. I still think this lighter has 2 stars but the customer service did a pretty good job of keeping their customers happy so I give it another 2 stars. The lighter they sent as a replacement is still in the box and will likely not be used as it is a conventional flared lighter and I was specifically looking for the handle flare which I originally purchased and am reviewing . So to conclude, good customer service, but the lighter itself is fine. It's good if you can light a lighter --------------------------- -- ----------- ----------------I bought this lighter to put on a fireworks display on the 4th of July. Reading other reviews I figured this would be a reliable lighter. When I received it I couldn't wait to try it. It was easy to fill and adjust the flame, it lit about half the time on the first try, but it definitely wasn't windproof. I wouldn't even say I lit it in the wind, just a breeze. The lighter seems to be of pretty good quality until you get a feel for the base. It feels like cheap metal. And the feel of it in my hand crushes my hand as I tried to grab it. My gloves are large and I almost have to hold them with three fingers instead of my thumb because of the base.
