I have this NVMe drive, ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB 3D NAND NVMe Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280 SSD R/W 3500/3000MB/s SSD (ASX-8200PNP 1TT-C) in this RocketStor case. This case is associated with a 2020 iMac 8 Core. I used to have this drive in an i7 8700k Hackintosh where the drive had a 3000MB read speed and a 2800MB write speed connected to PCIE 8x. In this case with this drive I get 1222 reads and 762 writes, which is the speed I would expect from USBc 3.2. For the price paid I expected better. I will be returning the case and looking for another way to use this NVMe drive.
