Review on πŸͺ MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Whey Gold Cookies and Cream Protein Powder - 5.5 lbs (76 Servings): Ideal Protein Supplement for Women & Men by Lori Hubbard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall a firm tasting protein with a more flexible macronutrient profile.

This is my second MuscleTech protein product. The last product I tried was MuscleTech Nitro-Tech in milk chocolate. In comparison, this product contains less protein per serving (24 vs. 30 g) and no creatine. Not having creatine is beneficial, especially if you're already taking creatine alone. This way you can optimize the amount of creatine you consume on a daily basis. As for taste, I find it mimics the taste of cookies and cream well. It tastes like melted Oreo McFlurry. It doesn't have the strong whey flavor commonly found in some protein powders. There are also some artificial aftertaste chemicals. Of course, you don't expect it to taste exactly like a real ice cream dessert. I've also found that when mixed with water, the thickness is different than regular Nitrotech. If you want a watery protein drink, this is for you. Oddly, I still found the mixability to be worse than regular Nitro Tech. real food. The volume per scoop also seems to be consistently high with this brand. Because of this, it will a) fill up your protein shaker more easily (for better or worse) and b) have fewer servings per x/lb glass. Take this into account when calculating your monthly needs. Overall a firm tasting protein with a more flexible macronutrient profile.
