if a protein shake tastes good, just mix it with water

I've been a bodybuilder for over 16 years and I've drunk thousands of protein shakes! For me, if a protein shake tastes good, just mix it with water. You have a winner! I've heard a lot of people say that being a serious enough lifter isn't about taste. Well, if you gag every time you drink a protein drink, chances are you won't be drinking that protein for very long, no matter how hard you lift! You must have something relatively tasty. Overall a firm tasting protein with a more flexible macronutrient profile.

This is my second MuscleTech protein product. The last product I tried was MuscleTech Nitro-Tech in milk chocolate. In comparison, this product contains less protein per serving (24 vs. 30 g) and no creatine. Not having creatine is beneficial, especially if you're already taking creatine alone. Great as a meal replacement/smoothie

We drink protein powder daily as both a meal replacement and post-workout recovery drink. We find Nitro Tech Whey Gold works well for us as a meal replacement or smoothie concoction as it has a medium thickness. We don't use this powder as a post-workout drink as we prefer our post-workout drinks to be a bit thinner so they're quicker and easier to swallow. ends up in small clumps even with fairly thorough shaking.
