Super cute classic unisex children's shoes. My 3 year old daughter can easily put them on and take them off by herself. At first she didn't like them because she thought they looked like "boys' shoes," but when she finally tried them on, they became her favorite summer shoes. They don't need to be broken in as they are very soft and we've never had any issues with chafing or blisters. They have a nice thick sole and a supportive inside. I bought her a nicer trendy sandal with more detailing but less support and thinner soles and she always refused to wear them so I know these shoes are comfortable for her. The velcro could be a bit thicker and more efficient, I don't think it's very firm and secure, but the benefit is that the sandal wraps the entire foot including the heel, so the entire foot isn't as easy to slip off.
