Bought to help with my anxiety. The bolt turns smoothly and without roughness on the fat thread. I didn't use key rings but hand made needle thread finger rings on each end. I can always add a clip if I want to take it with me. I found it uncomfortable to hold with small hands due to the metal rings on the ends. Sometimes makes noise when mother is moved after some time.
