Review on Versatile and Reliable: General Tools 1271M Arch Punch for Precise Hole Cutting by Bennie Wilks

I use this hole punch to create 1 inch character and monster tokens for D&D. to him. A punch usually cuts through material in 2 hammer blows. Clean edges, professional results. My friends wondered where I bought them and were surprised when I told them I made them at home. At first I used a cutting board under a particle board, but the cutting board had a rubber underside. This absorbed most of the impact and forced me to hit the punch more than 10 times in one cut. At first I thought it was dull and almost came out. Back when I switched to a hard cutting board and put it on a hard concrete surface where energy couldn't be absorbed, it now cuts easily in 1-3 strokes. I don't know how long it will live but I've been very happy with the performance so far.
