I used them straight away and found it would take some time to get used to because they are so thin and metallic. It says nothing about their quality. I see they will last a very long time. They hurt my hands like hell, unlike the thick plastic hands. Also, I can see them ripping the tube or tire if you have really strong hands and/or cheap tubes/tires or maybe rims. After all, it's metal on metal. So maybe it's me, but no matter how beautiful, strong and small they are, you have to be careful and gentle with them. But I still like them a lot and for this price I can only recommend them! Hope that helps. Take care!
