God! I've been looking for non-toxic cookware that I can rely on as I've made several unexpected health discoveries. That is for me. I am very satisfied with my 3-piece starter set. Warms well. Pots do not require high heat. I only cooked one dish but I wasn't concerned about what might have gotten into my food. No chips. I've experienced this with other nonstick cookware after a month of claiming they were better. The money I've spent on others could have gone into a much larger set. I prepared the pans as suggested by HS using a hot mixture of soapy water and vinegar. It removes leftovers from production. It has a distinct smell. You must use hot water. I washed several times with a solution using a microfiber cloth. Boil hot water in pots to remove any residue. I look forward to stress-free cooking. My breakfast tasted better. I will be purchasing other items to add to this starter kit. I know they will last longer. The pans are well made and durable. Neither the pot handle nor the lid handle got hot. I wish they were a little bigger on the lids, but that's not necessary, just a preference.
