Good replacement for the original brush. As with the others, the plastic "drive shaft" broke off on the original brush assembly. I suspect it will break at some point. It was indeed an unfortunate decision on Hoover's part. There's a "drive brushes only" list somewhere, but it costs about fifteen bucks, so it's not very economical. The problem is that the replacement brush assembly is not attached to the machine. Everything is fine during cleaning, the brushes spin, work great, but when you roll the steam cleaner to another location or put it away, the brush unit just falls off when you lift your nose.
