Excellent pump, the best of the aquarium pumps and filters

Pump works great and looks well made. It has 1" pipe thread connections for both inlet and outlet but only comes with 1 hose adapter. I used it to get in and I had to go to Lowe and get the fittings to get out. It claims you can put it in or out of the water, but I submerged it so I can't tell if it has enough power to properly pump out of the water.
