This is an incredible camera for the price, or any price. I teach art classes and my Canon T3i DSLR was only recording video in eleven minute segments, which eventually became a known issue with the unit. Since DSLRs are so expensive I couldn't buy another one (it was too late to return mine) so I had to look elsewhere. As it turns out, this is the best solution for covert teaching. I bought an inexpensive clamp mount to hold it, but you can use a regular tripod as this camera has a quarter inch screw. My favorite feature of this camera is the image clarity and accurate autofocus. And of course it records directly to my laptop, no additional software is required, saving a step when recording with my DLSR. After a lot of effort and hassle, I stumbled upon the perfect setup, for which I am so grateful. To avoid shadows I also bought a Diva Light Ring which I spent a little money on but it was worth it.
