Review on MAHLE Original OS30047 Engine Gasket by Corey Ford

This is a good thick cork gasket. I don't particularly favor using a plug, too much pressure and it will snap, but with 109 in/lb of torque from 12mm bolts on a 1985 Toyota 22R engine everything worked perfectly with absolutely no leaks. For best results with this gasket, make sure the thread surfaces are clean, use an accurate inch/lb torque wrench, and keep a close eye on gasket protrusion while tightening the bolts in an even pattern.
