Received the stone today and used it for the first time tonight to bake pizza. The packaging was satisfactory and it arrived in good condition. This is very hard work. I bought dough already made at the local grocery store to try and it worked well. The stone did not give off an unpleasant odor when heating or baking pizza. I placed it on the middle rack in the oven, set the oven as high as it could go, and let it heat up for an hour. It turned out to be a very crispy crust. I made 2 small pizzas in case I ruined the first one. My husband said it was good and worth repeating. I can't wait to bake bread on it. Great product so far.
