Review on Columbia Boys' Dual Front Jacket: Stylish and Versatile Outerwear for Active Young Adventurers by Christian Poojary

We only received this jacket today, I felt it necessary to write a review asap as I had mixed feelings about the order (based on the reviews) but was my son excited. He is 10 years old and currently wears size L10/12 shirts. I always order jackets up to a size of 2 years, hopefully when he isn't having a growth spurt. I ordered L (14/16) and based on the reviews I was afraid it would fit like M (10/12) and almost ordered XL. I'm glad I ordered the large, it fits him well, the whole jacket runs a bit larger than it should. I believe it is true to size. If I bought M (10/12) it would fit him but only this year. He is medium height and 10 years old. If your child is 10 years old, tall or tall (long arms), I think L (14/16) will fit perfectly. I didn't find the sleeves too short like someone else said unless your child has long arms. It is also double-sided, the camouflage is not prickly, smooth. It looks like it's going to be a warm jacket, I can't help it because we're in Texas, it's unusually warm this Christmas, 70+ degrees.
