Appearance and design looks good and after I figured out how to program he was happy but the reading of the current temperature got wrong (more than 7 degrees F above actual temperature) and is set to toggle at 36 degrees, not at temp. was below 29 degrees. The actual temperature was checked with another ink bird controller and a digital thermometer. Ink-Bird's website says you must return it to where you bought it to get a warranty replacement, or email Ink-Bird. A return to Revain was not possible as it has been six months since purchase. After several emails to Ink-Bird customer service and several tests per their instructions to confirm the unit was faulty, Ink-Bird requested my shipping address so they could send a replacement. Later, after waiting a week for a replacement, I received an email telling me to test the probe to see if that was the problem and giving me instructions on how to cut, splice, solder, and wrap of the wire on the probe. Ink-Bird didn't say what the next step would be if the device still doesn't work properly after replacing the probe. MY ADVICE: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. BECAUSE WHAT I HAVE IS NECESSARY FOR ANTIFREEZE I PURCHASED A BYITE REPLACEMENT ON AMAZON FOR THE SAME PRICE AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY.
